Max continues to make positive strides. He fights through the pain and discomfort, because he knows the healing waiting for him on the other side. Back in the body that allows him to run, throw, play pick games in the neighborhood and golf. And as Els says – smash some homers!
Please pray for continued healing for Max. Pray his veins do well with the Vancomycin (it’s a tough drug).
Please pray also for me – I developed a nasty head cold and am having to wait this out a hotel nearby. So brutal not to be with Max. But blessed the Buck is amazing and that my parents can help out. Els is with good buddies and we appreciate all of the support.
Praying for all of you for quick healing. Jen I have a friend that works at Edwards Life Science. She said that you and Max were at one of their meetings. She is asking what kind of valve did Max get. Praying that he is released on Sunday.
So sorry to hear about your cold, Jen!! Timing is everything, isn’t it. Max is one remarkable kid with his healing and having faith in his quicker recovery. Those bracelets must have some healing effect also – thinking of you all and will be happy to hear when you are all finally home and resuming normal activities in the near future.
